BIG PLAY... kicked off the Universal Below-the-Line Traineeship in 2021, and now, 20+ productions later, we're back with alongside & director .

Our talented trainees made their mark in Props, Art Dept, Costumes & more, gaining hands-on experience on a major film set.

The future of filmmaking is in good hands. 👏

LIFE FINDS A WAY… and so did our Universal Below-the-Line Traineeship on ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’. By offering trainees invaluable hands-on experience, this group of emerging talent contributed to key areas such as Set Decoration, Props, Art Department, Production Office, and Costume. They gained essential skills while working alongside industry professionals on a major production.

We look forward to seeing the impact these talented individuals will have on the future of filmmaking.

This year at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards was; Universal Composers Initiative participant Sara Barone who won Score - Documentary Series - TV/Digital for her work with Hans Zimmer and Jacob Shea on 'Planet Earth III' and alumni Daniel Rojas for Score - Short Film (Animated) for Illumination's 'Fly Hard'. We are so happy to celebrate your success!

WHIPPING UP A HUGE STORM! As Universal Pictures’ ‘Twisters’ continues to break box office records it also becomes the latest film to host the Universal Below-the-Line Traineeship, a unique career opportunity which placed trainees across 8 departments including Costume, Art Department, Sustainability, Production Office, Production Accounting, VFX, Construction (Art Department) and Post-Production VFX. This couldn’t have been done without our partner, the Oklahoma Film + Music Office, who helped source Oklahoma’s incredible emerging below-the-line talent, and Ghetto Film School who helped source our Post-Production VFX trainee in LA.
