There’s nothing wrong with creating beauty in our homes and with our friends.

But the pressure to “make the season meaningful” can feel crushing if we don’t keep our hearts in check.

The fruit God desires is not your curated holiday, it’s your softened heart. You don’t earn the fruit—you receive it through abiding.

Let’s keep this reminder on repeat as we head into Thanksgiving week! Amen?! 🫶🏼

We were never meant to do this alone. 🤍

We need women who go before us—
and women who come behind us.

We need mothers in the faith, sisters in the journey, and daughters who carry the flame forward.

When women pour into one another, we remind the world what the Church was always meant to look like—connection, courage, and compassion passed hand to hand.

Tag the women who have shaped your story.
Who is a woman of faith that you look up to? Maybe this is your sign to send her a note of encouragement. Or just tell her here in the comments :-)

The Wind & The Waves: Finding Comfort in the Storms of Life

When Jesus walked on water, He wasn’t just performing a miracle—He was revealing deep truths about who He is, drawing on powerful allusions from Genesis, the Psalms, and the Gospels.

In this thought-provoking article by Rachel Booth Smith, MDiv, featured in Truly’s Nature issue, you’ll discover how Jesus’s presence on the waves points back to God hovering over the deep in creation, the psalmists’ cries for rescue, and the declaration of his divine identity in the New Testament.

It’s a rich study that reminds us:

We can experience rocky seas and Jesus’s presence at the same time.

Use this article as a Bible study resource—alone or with friends—to trace these themes through Scripture, grow in your understanding, and find comfort in Christ’s presence when life feels overwhelming.

“It’s not the absence of the trial, but rather walking in the Spirit through the trial that gives us strength. Not just to barely hold on, but to be content.”

Paul stated, “For I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound…I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:11–13).

We are the faith-filled creatives and dreamers,
Those who paint, write, and imagine with hearts aligned to heaven.
We believe beauty is sacred,
And that creativity is not a hobby—it’s a holy calling.

We are the seekers of sacred depth,
Women who dig beneath the surface in search of the God who sees, speaks, and stays.
We are rooted in truth, not trends.
Our questions do not disqualify us—they draw us closer to the mystery of grace.

We are modern-day theologians in cozy corners,
Pouring over Scripture with tea-stained pages and open hearts.
We know God’s Word isn’t just for scholars—it’s for mothers, mentors, artists, and wanderers too.

We are rooted souls in a hurried world,
Choosing slow mornings, lit candles, and sacred pauses
Over hustle, hurry, and noise.

We are hearts drawn to holy beauty,
Attuned to the wonder in wildflowers, snowfall, silence, and psalms.
We see the sacred in the everyday
And know that worship is woven into laundry, laughter, and lament.

We are sisters across miles and seasons,
Bound not by buildings but by Christ.
Even when we’ve never met, we carry one another’s burdens through shared stories and gentle prayers.

We are the makers of meaning,
Baking bread and writing poems,
Planting gardens and lighting Advent candles—
All as acts of devotion.

We are contemplatives in a sometimes noisy church,
Disillusioned at times, but never without hope.
We still show up. We still believe.
We long for the ancient rhythms of grace and the quiet leading of the Spirit.

We are question-askers and grace-dwellers,
Unrushed by answers,
Unmoved by performance,
Unwavering in our trust that God is with us—even here.

We are kindred spirits with kingdom purpose,
Called to speak truth, seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly.
We are not alone.
We are women of the Word, and we are walking together.

We are The Truly Collective. We’re so glad you’re here🤍.
