Finally getting a proper dive into the Aftershock: The Seismic Impact of Dubstep. Not only is it absolutely gorgeously tactile (It’s also seemingly colour co-ordinated with the rest of my life today😂) and wonderful to look at, it’s one of the best, it think only, reckonings of what actually was going on at the birth of a new music culture during the early 2000’s and beyond, and an absolute beacon of how dance music journalism should be done.
