We have a thing!

Looking back at 2016, television is not better than cinema. If not, then what is it? An incredible medium of its own right that has entrenched us in the 'Peak TV' everywhere; good television is everywhere at our fingertips - great television is waiting for us just past that.

So, we look at some of the best that television had to offer in 2016 - its best year ever? - and we mark down what some of our 11 best shows were on top of that.

Our latest piece touches on Christopher Nolan's Inception, in that we went back to watch the filmmaker's Oscar-winning film from 2010 after surviving Interstellar and we've found a much more favorable appreciation for the dream heist caper.
