Erik here. So here's an RPG question... while I don't typically bastardize my games much, I am definitely guilty of using mechanics from a system that I really enjoy in different systems. I particularly like FATE Core's system for setting up relationships, for example, and have occasionally used it for a D&D or Savage Worlds game. I've even added a FATE-style aspect to each character in one of my Savage games, determined by me over the course of play and activated by spending a benny.

Just a couple of examples. What system mechanics have you seen that you would like to or have had the opportunity to port over into other game systems? And if you have, how successful has it been?
