Crews and officers see what management sometimes can’t. They know firsthand what really works, why initiatives fail, and where the blind spots are.

But how often do we seek their perspectives?

🔴 In many cases, organisations sit on a goldmine of frontline wisdom while decisions are made in isolation. The result? Strategies that look good on paper but fall apart in practice.

In their latest article, Green-Jakobsen explores how you can use organisational conversations to tap into the lived experience and collective wisdom of those who best understand the daily realities on board. 🚢

When you do so, your initiatives become…

✅ better informed
✅ more relevant
✅ more sustainable
✅ and easier to embrace by those who execute them

Most importantly, Green-Jakobsen A/S discusses the conditions that make organisational conversations effective: openness, trust, and psychological safety.
