I just cut three brand new 54" pieces of 6.8mm TVAC and tied up 252 Formula hitches with the new Eureka finish on my 60ft 3 hitch Rubicon system. Incidentally, Rubicon is closer to 9.5 mm than the advertised 9mm on my caliper. I also tweaked the Length Specs to indicate a 15" (rather than 14.5") standing end for this combination.

I am moving my system over to the Compact Formula Hitch. It's not quite as easy to break under load when compared to the Longhorn Agile, but it is more Compact and I can get better performance in DSRT which is my preferred method.

I am often asked what a dedicated system for hitch climbing would look like. A two hitch system will do the trick. And in my next video, I'll show you how it is possible to use this for SRT... even in a situation where we can't get a friction hitch through the tree crotch and do not want to remove it.

I have a camera operator lined up for later today. I am planning a demonstration with this system, which i just tied up: 50ft of 8mm Voodoo from Ape Canyon and 2 hitches... a dedicated hitch climbing system. But i also want to check in and find out if there are other specific climbing applications or demonstrations that you want to see in the future? Please leave a comment.
