We are running out of excuses for falling out of trees, no matter what caused the mishap. With the new toggled anchors, we don't have to tie anything in the woods:
1. The ALLEGHENY HITCH is incredibly simple to create and makes a cinching, secure and pole advancable anchor. It's ideal for a stick climber who manually advances their tie in.
2. The BLOODGOOD HITCH (pictured) is also retrievable for the rappel team.

No slack / zero slack one stick climbing. As you know, I have been rope climbing with the use of a pole (in situations where a throwball isn't practical) for a few years, and as I mentioned in the earlier videos about the Maverick pole, the concept easily can be used with stick climbing. And once we do so, we realize the stick isn't really necessary.
