This Week in APBA

It’s a sad time for the APBA community as we learn of the passing of Roy Langhans. I didn’t know Roy for very long but he made a lasting impression on me and many others. A kind and gentle man who had a passion for life and the game of APBA. I first became aware of Roy through his “Game of the Day” posts on the Delphi APBA forum pages. I finally got to meet Roy at my first convention in 2019. We immediately became friends, sharing APBA stories. I immediately invited him to be a guest on the podcast, which he obliged. He twice honored our show with his casual and warm demeanor.
I know he had been I’ll for some time and spoke to him briefly on the phone in May. Even with his physical issues, he was still the same ‘ol, engaging Roy.
I feel grateful and privileged to know him, even if it was for what seemed like, a brief moment.
RIP, Roy. You will be missed.❤️🙏
