Someone is trying to steal my identity. Please don't trust anything from my original Discord. They have hijacked it and I can't access it. I've contacted all three credit bureaus to put a fraud alert on my credit as well as freeze all my accounts. I've contacted all financial institutions, all credit cards, they've tried to hack my PayPal account several times (I beat them to that though so they didn't get in.) My husband Brad has been a godsend helping me change all passwords and making sure my main email account wasn't taken. (He put his phone and email for recovery. But they got my other emails). Anyway I'm freaking out having a full blown panic attack and telling to think of ways to warn everyone. When this happened my computer flashed, my browser restarted, they instantly stole my Discord account, then they even factory reset my phone. (I assume to buy time.) I don't know what they took besides my Discord account and my minor emails. But don't trust anything sus "from me" and please report anything suspicious. I'm 99% sure I beat them in taking my social media. But just in case. There i am telling the world.
EDIT: They got my identity / personal info, and control of my original Discord account, and control of a throw away gamer email I had connected to that Discord account.
UPDATE: Discord (finally, after a month) has confirmed they have completely shut down my original account so no one can use it ever again. And the funnier thing, is I was so paranoid about people knowing my personal info, I put my birthday year as 2025 when I created that throw away gamer email, and because of recent laws (children on Google) Google sent me one of those "you're too young for a Google account so we're going to permanently delete it without age proof" about an hour before this all happened. (So the hackers never knew this.) So they didn't even get that account either because it auto-deleted after two weeks! As far as my personal info goes, I've locked my entire life down so they can't even use my info if they tried.
Now I'm just trying to heal, regain my life back, and move forward.
