Join the NHSPCA for the annual doggie paddle plunge on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at Great Island Common in Newcastle! (water is too cold for the dogs to go swim, but humans are allowed lol!) I donate my DJ services to this event every year, and hope you can participate. Definitely gets the blood flowing!

From a fabulous dance party for the Women’s Clubs of New England to a broken axle cutting the homeward bound trip home by 1/2 a mile… it was quite a night.

Shirley (the trailer) has been my faithful gig companion for over 20 years. She was 25’ish when i bought her, and she’s given many years of great rides to the equipment. I guess 45 years might be her life span, but I’ll need confirmation from Dr. Fix a Trailer before that’s a fo sure outcome.

Plus side? The axle didn’t let go on the highway. I met my neighbor Mike (heard the godawful shrieks of metal dragging on tar and came out at 1 am and let me park at his house). Met a very nice tow guy named John who brought Shirley back to the house and helped me put her back in her spot. All in all it could’ve been a hell of a lot worse, and I’m thankful everything but Shirley is ok.

Some weddings just give you all the feels. Ben and Kayla got married yesterday. When we had our meeting, I found out that I’ve known his mom for 20+ years! I met him when he was a little kid. His family is so nice as is Kaylas‘. They have two beautiful little boys and it was just so special to be a part of their big day. Thanks, Kayla and Ben. Here’s to happily ever after 😍
