Just as mushroom mycelium links the whole world through invisible threads that grow day by day, Purple Hexagon believes that music can act as a bond that develops strong connections and positive friendships between communities and cultures. This can happen anywhere and it is not related to big bucks, binding agreements or to any alternative yet exclusive culture. Just as it happens with mushrooms, the strength comes from below; it is invisible and low-profile, yet strong and supportive. Purple Hexagon is simply based on music and the infinite possibilities of real people who make it happen, actively sharing their talents and energies to add to the mesmerising diversity and reach of the global psystrance scene. Purple Hexagon is a growing network and platform for quality music and artists to find exposure and for happy people to connect through dance and laughter at events around the world, from tiny tropical islands to crowded urban nightclubs. In this live, PSYPIEN presents his last EP Lost Media together with some old and some unreleased tracks. PSYPIEN is the project of Oliver Z/L, who grew up in the forests of Vienna, Austria. Psypien aims to create evocative, powerful, and unique psychedelic sound, merging 'traditional' forest & full-on approaches with the more 'strange' and experimental; a soundtrack for a realm outside time & space. His mission is to stir up the spirits inside you, while freeing your body & mind (and makin you feckin dance;)!

33,000 years in the distant and dim futurescape of a barren and sparse world, guild paleoanthropologists from the last known human outpost wait for the return of their final nuclear recon droid, sent to comb the wasteland for salvation, for hope - in the form of an ancient codex with which they can reconstruct civilization.
Such "Lost Media," the most prized, most sacred treasure of the post-societal Glacial Idiocene, must be collected, reassembled and collated to resurrect the pillars of science, art and statecraft; to save mankind itself from its final dawn. With baited breath, they watch from afar as their droid speedily approaches, barely evading the blasts of a hungry scavenger AI Metasquid.
They wonder what Lost Media it has acquired, possibly a classical Greek text, an ancient "Film" or a mathematical treatise. What new wisdoms will Mankind regain, what ancient horizons will be illuminated.
One can only dream. Whatever it is, they hope it isn't Psytrance again.

Purple Hexagon Records is proud to present a fresh set from their new label DJ from Spain, Designa.
His passion and love for electronic music has driven him to create culture and movement in the Psytrance scene in Spain, consolidating himself as a reference. Today, he focuses on promotion, event organization and continues as director of Skizodelic Mind, a vibrant and recognized collective in the music scene. José Hermosín, known artistically as DESIGNA and Akash, was born in Seville in 1980 and has been involved in electronic music since a young age.
His first project in electronic music was JXtorsion before discovering Psytrance in 2006, leading him to perform at parties across Andalusia starting in 2007. In 2008, he co-founded the Skizodelic Mind collective, organizing events with renowned artists. In 2017, he launched his career as Designa, gaining recognition in the Psytrance circuit and organizing the South Nature Festival, sharing the stage with major artists. As an international DJ, he has contributed to the growth of the Psytrance scene in Spain and remains a key figure. Today, he focuses on promotion, event organization, and continues to lead Skizodelic Mind, a prominent collective in the music scene.😎
