Apple and Google are facing new accusations of burying a major political story.

A new Media Research Center study obtained by Fox News Digital claims Apple News and Google News promoted zero stories for months about the controversies surrounding then-Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner, including reports about his N**i tattoo and resurfaced offensive Reddit posts.

The study says that changed only after The New York Times reported on Platner's sexting controversy, bringing the story into the national spotlight.

Google is firmly pushing back against the study, saying "these claims are totally false and based on a completely flawed methodology."

Apple has not yet responded to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
