Rebecca Ekpe Announces Bid for GJA Vice President

Rebecca Ekpe, current Public Affairs Officer of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Vice President in the upcoming national elections.
Motivated by a deep passion for media growth and development, she aims to help shape policies that promote journalism excellence and protect the rights of journalists. Ekpe also pledged to support the GJA President and National Executive Committee in fulfilling their mandate.
With her prior experience and dedication, she believes she is well-positioned to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Ghana’s media landscape.
ANNOUNCEMENT!
Dear Senior Journalists, Colleagues and Members of the Ghana Journalists Association.
I am happy to announce that l have decided after deep reflections to contest for the VICE PRESIDENT position in the upcoming Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) national elections.
This move is primarily inspired by a passion for media growth and development.
As Vice President of the Ghana Journalists Association, l will be contributing a great deal to promoting development of the journalism profession and the entire media industry in Ghana.
My role as Vice President would
also be critical in contributing to shaping GJA's policies and initiatives towards excellence in journalism as well as protecting the rights of members, journalists and the media fraternity in general.
But about all, l would be supporting the President and the GJA National Executive Committee to effectively and efficiently deliver its mandate.
Having served a term as Public Affairs Officer of the Ghana Journalists Association, l believe l have garnered ample experience, positioning me for the next level in the service of the GJA.
