🚨 IPHONE WARNING: If this appears on your Lock Screen, don’t swipe it away.

Apple just sent a new wave of mercenary spyware alerts to targeted users in 110 countries.

If you receive one, it does not necessarily mean your iPhone was hacked. But it does mean Apple detected signs that you were specifically targeted by a highly sophisticated attack.

Here’s what to do:

1️⃣ Update your iPhone
Settings → General → Software Update

2️⃣ Turn on Lockdown Mode
Settings → Privacy & Security → Lockdown Mode

3️⃣ Secure your Apple Account
Make sure two-factor authentication is on, review connected devices and use a strong, unique password.

4️⃣ Make sure the warning is real
Don’t trust unexpected links or calls. Instead, go directly to account.apple.com yourself. If Apple really sent you a threat notification, you’ll see it there.

⚠️ Important: Apple says a genuine threat notification will never ask for your password, verification code or tell you to install an app or profile.

Most iPhone users will never see one of these alerts. They have historically targeted people such as journalists, activists, politicians and diplomats.

But scammers may copy these warnings to trick ordinary iPhone users. That’s why everyone should know what a real one looks like.

Cyberbullying may be hiding in your child’s group chat , and they might not even realize they’re part of it.

A cruel joke, embarrassing screenshot, altered photo or laughing reaction can quickly turn into something much more serious. And with AI tools making fake photos, audio and videos easier to create, online harassment can spread faster than ever.

The problem? Kids may stay quiet because they’re afraid you’ll take away their phone, blame them or make the situation worse.

What to do instead:

Look for these 5 things before you react:

1️⃣ Ask about their group chats, games and social media without immediately criticizing their screen time.

2️⃣ Help them understand when a joke crosses the line, especially when someone asks for it to stop or content is shared without permission.

3️⃣ Promise to listen first instead of immediately taking away their phone or contacting other parents.

4️⃣ Tell them not to retaliate, forward the post or add reactions that could keep the bullying going.

5️⃣ Save screenshots, usernames, dates and messages before blocking or reporting the account.

🔒 If your child comes to you about cyberbullying, focus first on making sure they feel safe and heard. Then save the evidence, report the content and involve the school or authorities when necessary.

☎️ Getting mystery voicemails even though your phone never rang? Don’t call back.

Repeated blank or unexplained voicemails from unfamiliar numbers can be tied to automated spam, caller ID spoofing, call-screening features or “ringless voicemail” technology. And if the number keeps changing every time you block it, scammers may be spoofing different caller IDs to keep reaching you.

What to do instead:
1️⃣ Don’t call unfamiliar numbers back. If the message is blank or the caller doesn’t identify themselves, let it go. A legitimate caller can leave a meaningful message or try you again.
2️⃣ Turn on your phone’s spam protection. iPhones can screen unknown callers and filter calls identified as potential spam, while supported Samsung Galaxy phones offer Caller ID and spam protection.
3️⃣ Don’t waste time blocking every changing number. Caller ID spoofing means the number on your screen may have nothing to do with the person actually calling.
4️⃣ Contact your wireless carrier if it won’t stop. If silent voicemails are coming in repeatedly, ask what network-level spam controls are available.

⚠️ A mystery voicemail by itself does not mean your phone has been hacked, but unexplained calls are still worth treating cautiously.

🚨 Medicare and Social Security scammers are getting more convincing, using urgent warnings, spoofed caller IDs and even AI-generated voices to steal personal information.

They may claim your benefits are about to be suspended, your Social Security number has been linked to a crime or you need to verify information for a new Medicare card. The goal is to scare you into acting before you have time to question whether the message is real.

What to do:

1️⃣ Never share your Medicare number, Social Security number, bank details or verification codes during an unexpected call, text or message.

2️⃣ Hang up and contact Medicare or Social Security yourself using an official number. Don’t use a phone number provided by the caller.

3️⃣ Watch for threats, pressure to act immediately or demands for payment through gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency or other unusual methods.

4️⃣ Check your Medicare statements and financial accounts regularly for charges, claims or activity you don’t recognize.
