Royal Selangor Opens New Stores in Johor and Penang.

Royal Selangor continues its store expansion in Malaysia with the opening of stores at Medini, Nusajaya and at the newly refurbished Penang International Airport. Both stores feature the pewter brand’s new retail identity that fuses traditional and modern elements. Drawing inspiration from the tin mines and using neutral tones, the store provides customers a calm ambience for their shopping experience.

The 1300 square feet store at Medini, Nusajaya is located at the entrance of the Mall of Medini, where the new Legoland opened in September. A stunning double volume mengkuang screen wraps the façade of the store. Another prominent feature in the store is a faceted wall resembling an oversized rock of tin ore, creating an interesting contrast against the neutral coloured fixtures. The store at the Penang International Airport is located at the international departure hall.

H&M Opens Third Store in Malaysia at Paradigm Mall.

Last Saturday, over 400 H&M fans and enthusiasts of the brand lined up for over eight hours outside the third Malaysian store at popular retail destination Paradigm Mall in anticipation of the Swedish fashion retailer opening its doors at 11am. This opening follows suit the successful launch of H&M stores in Lot 10 Shopping Centre and Setia City Mall.

Beam me up Scotty! The Star Trek Exhibition is here!
Arriving fresh from a successful exhibition in Vancouver, Canada, Star Trek the Exhibition will be making its debut at the National Science Centre next week as it opens an interactive exhibition of the largest collection of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on public display.
Kuala Lumpur is priviledge to be the first city in Asia to host the 3-month exhibit featuring sets, costumes, priceless museum pieces and props from all five Star Trek television series and 11 Star Trek feature films, including the 2009 blockbuster film directed by J.J. Abrams.
Star Trek fans and novices alike will have a first hand interactive experience to explore the worlds, the wisdom, the science, the stories, the cultures, characters, fashions and the fantasies of the Star Trek universe that has made it the most influential science-fiction TV show ever. The iconic Girard-Perregaux is proud to announce that it will be the Exclusive Timekeeper and a Founding Supporter of the new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, scheduled to open in 2016 in Los Angeles.
