✨️Do you feel like you’re always in go mode?

Always doing, fixing, planning, thinking about the next thing?

Niksen is the art of doing nothing. And no, it’s not lazy. It’s necessary.
When you give your nervous system a chance to pause, everything else starts to feel a little lighter.

A few ideas of how you could practise niksen:
• Sit with a cup of tea and don’t scroll
• Look out the window and let your mind wander
• Step outside and notice what’s around you
• Do something without turning it into a task

📝Journaling prompt:
When was the last time I truly did nothing, and how did my body feel afterwards?

If slowing down feels hard, you’re not alone. I share gentle wellbeing and journaling support here, and inside my Journaling Club we practise this kind of pause together.

Just in case you need it today 🤍

If you’re here, you made it through days that once felt impossible. That matters. You matter. Take a moment to let that sink in and feel proud of yourself.

If this resonates, save it for later or share it with someone who might need the reminder too ✨

✨️Mid-week Reminder✨️

Repeat after me:
My sensitivity is my strength,
The way I feel, and love,
My vulnerability and rawness,
That is my power,
My Purpose.

Save this for when you need it and share as a reminder to others ❤️

✨ Journaling therapy has a special place in my heart, because it’s where things get clearer, healing, and self-understanding finally start to click together.

It’s a safe, guided space to explore what’s really going on underneath the surface.

In our online sessions, we slow things down, make sense of your thoughts, and use customised journaling techniques to help you:
📝 Untangle overwhelm
🧠 Understand your emotions
💛 Build self-compassion
🌿 And feel a little lighter, week by week

If you’ve been struggling with stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, feeling disconnected from yourself, or just need someone to talk to journaling therapy can give you a clear way forward, one that meets you where you are.

If you’d like to know more about my sessions,
comment "Journaling" below and I’ll send you the details. Or DM me, I'm always happy to chat ☺️

My December blog post, “Wintering Well,” is now live! — It’s all about embracing winter as a season of rest and reflection, really thriving instead of just surviving...

Inside, I talk about…
✨ Why winter is the perfect time to slow down
✨ How to support your mind & body through the darker days
✨ Nourishing winter wellness routines
✨ Nervous system-friendly practices
✨ Journaling prompts for reflection
✨ And how mindset (inspired by How to Winter by Kari Leibowitz) can completely change the way you experience this season

If winter usually feels hard, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to just “get through it.” Your winter can be calmer, softer, and so much more supportive with the right tools.

Dance it out folks! I highly recommend it 🤩

Sometimes the best therapy is… dancing around your kitchen like no one’s watching. 🕺💃

Movement (yes, even the wiggly-awkward kind) helps your brain shake off stress, boost your mood, and reset your day.

So if life feels heavy today, pop on a tune and let your body do its thing — zero technique required. 😄✨

A little De-cember reminder for this month...
You don't always need to be adding more.

Sometimes we find more balance by taking things away. Here are a few small “De’s” that can make December feel lighter:

• De-clutter your mind
Do a quick brain dump and let the thoughts swirling around finally land somewhere.

• De-stress your schedule
See if there’s one thing you can take off your plate. Small changes make a big difference.

• De-pressurise your expectations
You don’t need to do it all or do it perfectly. Good enough is honestly enough.

• De-activate the noise
Step back from the apps, chats or spaces that drain you. Protect your energy.

• De-tox your self-talk
Notice the harsh thoughts and swap them for something a little kinder and more realistic.

💬What’s one thing you can De-clutter this month?

💙Save this as a reminder and please share or repost!
