CABI Landscape Initiatives Presentation* .

TITLE - Women Empowerment In Land Restoration.

Our presentation was one of the best. We again stole the show.
Whatever wells for Zoë is doing is integrating landscape management systems which foster natural resources resilience at a landscape level.
So we are not leaving anyone behind and our focus is on people. We are giving other alternatives which are short term and long term like payment of wages, employing charcoal burners, teaching people and installing erosion control measures, preschools, outreach clinics and rocket stoves there by reducing landscape degradation .

In addition it was pleasing to note that so many people know us.
After the presentation the group was asked to raise hands if they know wells for Zoë. About 15 delegates raised their hands out of 24 that are attending the workshop and most them were big names like directors and even the Guest of honor who is the principal secretary in the ministry of Agriculture who represented the minister.

Towards the end of the workshop today, we were given forms and maps to complete and locate our project areas for a possible funding.
CABI will assist in locating funds to organisations that are already established and are implementing projects in the communities.
I just started completing the form and I will submit tomorrow.
