Nippon Life Insurance Co has uncovered 604 cases of confidential information being mishandled by its employees over a six-year period. The insurer revealed that 13 staff members, seconded to seven partner banks and financial institutions between 2019 and 2025, had accessed and photographed internal sales documents without authorisation.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ruled in favour of a state employee who fought a two-decade-long legal battle for fair wages. The court directed the Haryana government to pay him salary arrears as a driver from 2000—the year he began performing those duties—rather than from 2009, when his promotion was formally approved on paper.
