Partick Film Festival returns in January 2026 for a week long programme of film screenings, industry events and masterclasses at unique venues in and around Partick including Partick Library, The Annexe and The Kelvin Hall.

We had a great day yesterday at The Kelvin Hall with Joseph Andrew McLean of Partickular Films and The Partick Film Festival which featured our films VAMPYRE and Another homeless affair on the big screen celebrating people that make Glasgow.
Myself and Debi of The Ronains were absolutely honoured with 150 people coming through the doors.
It’s such a buzz seeing peoples passion whatever it may be in, Joe himself is an incredible producer/director of film and it was amazing and educational to watch his other works yesterday. A great mind and visionary in his own field and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be friends over the years. Also privileged to say we have some exciting things coming up together in the near future.

Partick Film Festival in collaboration with the Kelvin Hall has put together an eclectic programme of short films to celebrate Glasgow 850 at this year's WestFest.

The event is FREE with films screening from 10am – 5pm in the screening room at the Kelvin Hall. You can drop in at any point during the day.

As part of this years Glasgow 850 celebrations, we've been asked to curate a programme of short films at the Kelvin Hall on Saturday 14th June.

We are looking for short films and documentaries set in Glasgow or featuring Glaswegian characters to screen at our event.
