Hey friends — reaching out for a little help. We are working on getting a properly sourced Wikipedia entry for Amok Books and also the Desolation Center film) submitted that documents our work in underground music, performance, film and publishing.

We’ve pulled together citations from major sources (LA Times, Hollywood Reporter, PBS, Vanity Fair, etc.) and written neutral drafts that follow Wikipedia’s submission process. Now we’re hoping to find someone with Wikipedia editing experience who can help us submit the drafts through Articles for Creation.

"Pogo" goes legit. John Wayne Gacy's classic clown painting originally exhibited in the controversial show at the Amok Bookstore in 1988 will be on auction at the Material Culture auction house in Philadelphia later this month as part of their Fine-Folk-Outsider auction. Also a Seven Dwarves piece for the Disney fan in all of us.
