Maasin City, Southern Leyte β The Maasin City Police Station, under the leadership of PLTCOL JAYSON P BALBARONA, Acting Chief of Police, continues to intensify its anti-criminality campaign, leading to the successful arrest of an Other Wanted Person during a police operation conducted on the evening of July 17, 2026, in Brgy. San Jose, Maasin City.
Through a Manhunt Charlie Operation, MCPS Tracker Team operatives arrested a 50-year-old male resident of Brgy. San Jose, Maasin City, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Service of Sentence in connection with a Homicide case.
Upon his arrest, the accused was properly informed of the nature of his arrest and his constitutional rights in accordance with the law. He was then brought to the Maasin City Police Station for booking and documentation before being turned over to the issuing court for proper disposition.
"The Maasin City Police Station remains steadfast in its commitment to pursue wanted persons and ensure that they are brought before the proper authorities.
