Nature Scene Records started as an artist led cooperative in 2010. A home for the weird/wonderful outcasts of the music scene in Ljubljana, London and beyond.

It now encompasses a recording studio, production team and a base for streaming live sessions.

and I (Alastair McNeill) became a newly formed mostly jazz production team this year, with myself mastering and his productions and mixes, we took a more collaborative approach, with a demystifying process I’d learned from people like . By allowing a back and forth and a crossover between producer / mixer / mastering engineer i think we’ve been able to raise the level of our nearly ten album output to a level that we wouldn’t remotely by allowing everyone to grow with patience.

It’s almost a ten anniversary of Yila & friends album ‘Souvenir’ so what better way to buck the trend and do it on nine. Pulled from streaming platforms in a self harm moralistic statement it now returns to Spotify et al.
