Taxi Association and taxi drivers are saying that South Africans are not allowed to have more than one passenger in their cars. It doesn’t matter if it’s your kids, family, friends, or colleagues, if they catch you with more than one person in your car, they could damage it, crash it in public, or even burn it.

They’re basically saying: your kids must use taxis to get to school, not your own car and your family should also use taxis for personal trips instead of your car.

COURT UPDATE | The accused Appreciate Makhubele (30) appeared in Modjadjiskloof Magistrate's Court facing charges of murder, yesterday 30 July 2025 after the court rescheduled the date of his second appearance for his bail application. The accused was granted bail of R2000 by Modjadjiskloof Magistrate's Court.

The case was postponed to 18 September 2025 for further investigations.

Makhubele is accused of murder following an incident in which the deceased and his brother were admitted at the accused disciplinary camp, after their mother called the accused to come and fetch them, according to the deceased 's mother, the accused forced the deceased to apologise to his mother before they left and was even assaulted in her presence and even when they arrived at the camp he was assaulted with a chain and a pipe and kept in isolation while he had bruises and was unable to walk or bath himself, he was helped by his brother and the brother also witnessed the victim (deceased) stomping on the swollen hand and it oozed blood and after they saw that it was not getting any better they called the mother telling her that the hand needs a traditional healer and they took him back home and he showed his mother the injuries on his back that's when he was taken to hospital on the 10 July 2025 and he succumbed to his injuries on the 12 July 2025

The Forensic Post-mortem analysis was conducted on 18 July 2025 and a Pathologist confirmed that the deceased sustained severe injuries.

A case of an inquest was open on Monday 21 July 2025 and the accused was arrested on Tuesday 22 July 2025 and was charged with murder. .

Then after few days Appreciate realized that the boy is not well in terms of health then he took the child back to his home for them to take him to hospital and unfortunately the injuries were bad that he did not survive in hospital and passed away.

Then after the passing away of this young boy the family called Appreciate Makhubele and set down with him them told him that he must bury the boy and Appreciate said he doesn't have money to can bury the boy then the family after few days of the boy's untimely death they decided to open a case against Appreciate after he said he doesn't have money to bury the boy 😥 and Appreciate was arrested for what they call murder of which is not even qualifying as a murder charge but culpable homicide.

Some other information are very much sensitive concerning the family i cannot reveal them on social media, i just wanted to outline this information that i got from a close relative.

May the court of law serve justice for this young boy and the right culprits be arrested.

💔 Tragic News from Pretoria 💔
Jerry Boshoga, a respected farmer and businessman, was reported missing last November after a meeting in Centurion. His family endured a painful ordeal, receiving troubling messages from the kidnappers.

Sadly, Jerry has now been found deceased. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time. May he rest in peace. 🕊️

The four men charged with the murders of DJ Sumbody and his two bodyguards, as well as Vereeniging engineer Amand Swart now face two additional counts of murder.

They are accused of the murders of Hector “DJ Vintos” Buthelezi who died in March 2022 outside a nightclub in Orlando East, Soweto. The second charge relates to the murder of Don Tindleni who was killed on the N1 in March 2023.

Attempted murder accused 's case postponed for formal bail application

The Emalahleni Magistrates 's Court has postponed the attempted murder case of the 35 year old,Mpumelelo Ignitus Hill (pictured) to 07 August 2025

According to the Mpumalanga Police,Mpumelelo Ignitus Hill, allegedly torched the two women,a 21 year old, Nompumelelo Gamede,who is the mother of his children as well as his 23 year old sister, Antoinette Hill,who was reportedly trying to intervene,when she became a victim as well.

The Kwanele Mama Foundation led a community picket outside the court and the residents were holding placards demanding justice.

Man To spend Life Behind Bars For Ra**ng On His Wedding Night:

A 45-year-old husband will spend his life in jail after he was convicted and sentenced to life behind bars by Polokwane high court for ra**ng a miner on his wedding day.The man from Dennilton in Limpopo will spend his life for sexually violeting a nine-year-old girl. To protect the victim’s identity, the accused’s name is withheld. The accused pleaded not guilty.The incident occurred on 24 December 2023 during a wedding ceremony in Dennilton, where the accused was the groom. The victim, her mother, younger sibling, and two aunts—part of the bride’s family—were offered a room to sleep at the bride’s residence after the celebration. In the early hours, the accused entered the room where the victim was sleeping, carried her to an unoccupied bedroom, and r***d her. The victim’s screams for help prompted the accused to flee. Her mother found her naked and immediately reported the matter to the police, leading to his arrest.

His actions turned a day meant for celebration into a horror, damaging the relationship between the two families irreparably due to his greed and lust .The state highlighted his arrogance and lack of remorse throughout the trial.The judge condemned the accused’s actions, noting that as a newlywed, he should have shared his first night with his bride, not committed an act “fit for movies, not real life.” The court emphasised that the accused knowingly took the child, left her on the floor, and fled, showing a ruthless lack of conscience. Despite DNA evidence, his arrogance persisted, and the trial left the minor and her family, who had supported him, in misery.
