Releasing 'Rivière Noire' by has been a great experience and reminded me of what I love about this job.
It’s not about followers, algorithms, money, or fame — it’s about connecting with people through music and sharing a positive message.

The revolution will not be playlisted. We playlist music that helps to not give up on the revolution. Using platforms like Meta, Spotify, Apple, or YouTube to share this music might be contradictory, but at this point, they are the best channels to reach people. Or, to quote Black Thought’s marvelous interpolation on Gil Scott-Heron:

You will not be able to block, unfollow, mute or swipe left to disengage with the revolution.

The revolution is all-inclusive and non-exclusive. It transcends time, space, race, and religion. It is wide awake at all times, and understands that accepting, addressing, and correcting the transgressions of the past is the only path to a better tomorrow.

‘Atélier’ by @‌flofilz with @‌toshikisoejima and @‌mattwildemusic out now!

‘‘Atélier‘ is the second single from FloFilz‘ still untitled new project which he started last year in Tokyo. It was recorded across three cities.

Flo says: „I visited Toshiki in his home city Shizuoka last autumn (about an hour away from Tokyo), we had a great time making music and enjoyed delicious Sushi together. I also recorded some violin layers for this one.“ Matt Wilde and Greedo added their parts in Manchester and Berlin.

『Atélier』は、昨年東京でスタートしたFloFilzのまだタイトル未定の新プロジェクトからのセカンドシングル。レコーディングは3都市で行われた。

フロは「去年の秋、彼の故郷である静岡（東京から約1時間）を訪ねて、一緒に音楽を作ったり、美味しいお寿司を食べたりして、とても楽しい時間を過ごしました。この曲のためにヴァイオリンのレイヤーも録音したんだ。“ マット・ワイルドとグリードがマンチェスターとベルリンでパートを加えた。

Last October I’ve spent time in Tokyo with and .winter to work on Flo’s new project. The journey was mind-blowing in many ways. Over the next months we will share music, stories and visuals, that will hopefully make our excitement understandable. As a starter, FloFilz just released the song „Setagaya Samba“. Setagaya is one of Flo’s favourite Tokyo neigbourhoods. It houses around 900.000 people and is the home of and .shimokitazawa.shop. , where the main character of Wim Wenders’ „Perfect Days“ is buying his cassette tapes is also around the corner.
