A drug dealer who used the postal service to transport drugs throughout the United Kingdom was given a sentence of more than five years.
The 28-year-old Mustak Alom was also a member of an organised crime ring that transported co***ne from Bedford to Southampton.
When Alom entered Bedfordshire Police Headquarters in January of this year, he was already on bail for offences committed in London. He had come to the police station in an uninsured vehicle, which was a requirement of his bail.
After the car was inspected, he was taken into custody and examined, where two cell phones were found, connecting Alom to a drug investigation that was still underway.
After that, officers searched his Bedford home and found many Class A narcotics, delicacies, drug paraphernalia, cannabis worth £16,000 on the black market, and almost £2,000 in cash.
