जी हां, ऑक्टोपस का खून नीला होता है!
क्योंकि उसमें ऑक्सीजन ले जाने वाला प्रोटीन Copper आधारित होता है, Iron नहीं।
मतलब जहाँ इंसान का खून Hemoglobin से लाल है, वहीं ऑक्टोपस Hemocyanin से नीला।
समुद्र की गहराई में रहने वाले इन जीवों की रचना ही अलग है।
इसलिए कहते हैं — समंदर की दुनिया अब भी अनजानी है।
