I knew London was expensive, just not this expensive…🤡💸
Rent was expected. What caught me off guard were the everyday costs that quietly drain your money. Transport add-ons, convenience fees, ‘quick’ coffees and all the little spends you barely notice until your balance does.
Moving here taught me a lot about budgeting, priorities and just how quickly small expenses add up. If you’re thinking about moving to London, or you’ve just arrived, this is the stuff I wish someone had told me sooner.
