I'm going to do a little profile on each band in the Soultrane Festival 2.0 and share some clips for each artist. First is Knats, I first heard of them last year when Beyond the Blue played Soultrane 1.0 and introduced us to the energy and creativity of new generation jazz fusion.. We went to see them this year at Love Supreme Festival and we were not disappointed, they attracted a huge crowd and had everyone eating out of the palm of their hands. They are all virtuoso's on their instruments which is hard to imagine given that they all look like they are still teenagers!! How can I describe the knats live experience, well awe inspiring technical musical ability combined with driving, pulsing and joyous music lifting the heart and soul. Don't miss this opportunity to see and experience these rising stars.

Bio: Knats, a quintet led by two lifelong best mates from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stan Woodward (Bass) and King David Ike Elechi (Drums), making dance music which derives from their respective roots of Jazz, Drum and Bass, House and Gospel. Within their short arrival on the scene they have supported the likes of Vels Trio and Tom Ford and been on the cover of Spotify Fresh Finds Jazz.
