👉 This study demonstrates that shell-derived activated carbon is an effective, eco-friendly adsorbent for removing the antiviral drug favipiravir from water, achieving 94.6% efficiency under optimised conditions, with adsorption following pseudo-second-order kinetics and Langmuir isotherm behaviour.
