Chronos-DX: A New Family of AI Models
Chronos-DX has been developed over the past months at Flushnet AI as a new family of AI models focused on practical reasoning, software engineering, systems architecture, structured tasks, and efficient ex*****on.
The goal is not simply another conversational model, but a broader model family for real-world workloads.
INTERNAL VALIDATION
A recent production-hardening suite evaluated Chronos-DX across 36 tests:
• Math & general reasoning: 12/12
• Systems & solution architecture: 6/6
• Distributed processing: 6/6
• Code & tool-oriented tasks: 12/12
Total: 36/36 passed.
This is an internal engineering validation suite, not a standardized benchmark or state-of-the-art claim.
REAL OUTPUTS
Prompt:
“Design reliable distributed PDF processing jobs. Give four concise points.”
Chronos-DX:
Utilize a message queue to manage asynchronous processing of PDF jobs.
Employ worker processes to handle individual PDF files.
Implement retry with exponential backoff for failed jobs.
Ensure idempotency to avoid duplicate processing.
Prompt:
“Design a resilient multi-region inventory API. Give four concise points.”
Chronos-DX:
Use an API gateway/load balancer across multiple regions.
Deploy horizontally scalable stateless service instances.
Use a persistent data store with replication or failover.
Use queues, retries, idempotency and autoscaling for rliability.
Prompt:
“Write valid Python code for clamp(x,lo,hi). Output only code.”

VALIDATION ALSO MEANS FINDING WEAKNESSES
One distributed-processing request pattern exposed a classification weakness. After correcting the ex*****on logic, that regression group improved:
0/6 → 6/6
without modifying the underlying model weights.
PERFORMANCE
Additional ex*****on-control overhead measured in the same cycle:
• Median: ~3.13 ms
• p90: ~16.06 ms
• Mean: ~17.63 ms
The configuration passed its internal performance gate and was classified as a production candidate.
Chronos-DX focuses on practical reasoning, specialised technical capabilities, efficient resource use, reliable structured output and production-oriented ex*****on.
