From Tokyo’s sushi temples to butter-soaked ambition, from food-truck redemption arcs to darkly comic tasting menus—cinema has long used kitchens as stages for joy, obsession, and transformation. This year, we add our own dish to the table with Nonnas (2025): a story about food as memory, legacy, and love. Because sometimes the best stories aren’t just told - they’re served!
