Well you know...
Traveling the United States by myself brought me through Columbus Ohio to buckeye lake in 1993
One of the people visiting a friend in Ohio was a staunch deadhead who kept track of setlists
When we met up in Ohio we discussed what might be played after discussing what was already played recently
I had a strong feeling that I'd hear my favorite Bob Dylan song. Turns out it was both of them.
I remember Kevin said I don't think they're going to play Tom thumb's jim. And I just said you know what it would be really cool and I'm not sh****ng you I feel it LOL
After the trip I had around the United States I felt like I deserved a Tom thumbs. I felt small. I felt lost. I was heading back to New York City and I did believe that that was enough for me traveling
Some of us took it seriously.
I'd say things like man you got to be there when it happens. You got to get off your ass
You got to get your s**t together and get your friends in line get your ducks in a row and make it f**king happen
That's why I drove back out to Ohio the next year to catch the next years event at buckeye lake
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Isaac Heiss and his dad Joe.
Well like my other post says if you're going to make it to heaven you got to know they got a hell of a band.
Joe's jumping around with no shoes, Phil is throwing down on that four string from the grateful Dead movie, Jerry's playing the tiger, Vince and Brent playing keys wild pig pen makes you get your hands out yo pockets and dance around.

Enjoy this version of a guy who survived throat cancer before going back out there and doing it again
"A rare double-dose of back-to-back Bob Dylan, we're treated here to Phil and Bob singing lead on a couple of Dylan's classics. By the late 1980s, most Dead ...
