Hey friends I want to take a minute and share something real with you about this podcast and the journey it’s taken to get here.
When I started this show two years ago, I called it Where’s My Witches At. It was fun and cheeky a title pulled from memes and tee-shirts and it gave me a starting point to open up about my path into pagan spirituality. I wanted to talk about how I chose this path, how I busted out of the broom closet, and how I worked through my spiritual trauma and transformation.
But here’s the thing and it explains why this podcast has been inconsistent: I wasn’t always sure if doing this type of podcast was the right thing. There were many times I doubted whether my voice belonged in this space at all, or whether anyone would even care to hear what I had to say. That self-doubt led to starts and stops, long breaks, and me constantly questioning if I was on the right track.
And over time, through reflection and a lot of late-night soul-searching, I came to realize something: this is exactly where this podcast was supposed to be leading all along. I just couldn’t see it at the start.
This space was never meant to be surface-level or all light and love. It was meant to be honest. To explore the depth, the beauty, and the struggle of walking a pagan spiritual path. A path that’s often messy, imperfect, and deeply personal.
What I see out there too often is a polished, aesthetic-driven version of this spirituality something that looks good on Instagram or TikTok but doesn’t reflect the actual lived experience. And that’s not what I want for this space.
I want this podcast to reflect the real magic of walking this path. The dark and the light. The healing and the mess. The moments of connection and the moments of doubt. It’s not about being perfect it’s about being present and authentic in the journey.
That’s why I’m rebranding to Busted Broom Wisdom. Because life on this path is rarely smooth and none of us has a perfect broom. Mine is well-used, a little busted, and still flying. And so is yours. And that’s okay.
This is the direction this podcast was always meant to take I just had to grow into it myself.
So, if you’ve been here through the starts and stops, through the quiet seasons and the chaotic ones, thank you. I’m honored to have you along for this next chapter, where we can explore practical wisdom, healing, and authentic pagan spirituality together.
Here’s to flying on busted brooms and making the magic real. 🧹✨
Blessed be.
