“With Astroworld going viral again I would just like to take the time to post some safety tips about crowd overpopulation and how to keep yourself safe. Remember only 50k tickets were sold at Astroworld (plus all the people who rushed in) EDC had 500k+.

1. DO. NOT. SHOVE. YOURSELF. FORWARD. If you wanted to see your favorite artist up close you should’ve gotten there earlier. Do not be selfish and push everyone else around because you want to be closer. This is how you push people into baracades and cause injuries. Once Travis Scott’s countdown started EVERYONE pushed forward and tried shoving their way through and I really believe this made it worse.

2. If you find yourself in an overcrowded area, cross your arms with about an inch of space in between your arms and chest. If your arms are compressed to your chest and you have no space for your chest to rise and fall try to move to a less crowded area. I usually just move backwards or to the side of the crowd until I have enough comfortable space. If you’re unable to move at all, do not struggle. You will quickly lose more oxygen. Just move in motion with the crowd, go with the flow until you’re able to find your way out.

3. IF YOU DROP SOMETHING DO NOT PICK IT UP. If you fall down in an extremely dense crowd it’s almost impossible to get back up and you will get trampled. Your phone or special trinket is not worth your life. If you fall down protect your head and neck and immediately get into the fetal position.

4. If you see someone down help them up! But be very careful, if you fall down too it can cause a domino effect of people falling and dog piling on each other and cause suffocation. I believe one of the victims unfortunately passed away from trying to help people up off the ground this way.

RIP to all the victims of Astroworld who just wanted to go to a music festival after COVID to have fun. 🕊️”

In recent years, Bonnaroo has not had the greatest of luck with the weather 🌧️. Temperatures upwards of 106 degrees, a hurricane, and other rough storms over the last decade.
