A few months ago, I had the opportunity to send a proposal to a potential client that was requesting a total social media re-vamp. We went over details of the company, their products, and what look and feel they were searching for. My proposal included a total social media package, as well as recommendations about how their content should be placed on the feed. Content for the medical industry needs to be conservative and not too "out there", but it can have a great, cohesive look.
It was rejected 🫣 well, technically, I never heard back. Why am I showing this? Because rejections can be painful, but they can also push you to think creatively about what can be improved during those crucial steps to closing that client contract. What, in my proposal, was probably not inviting? What type of questions should I ask next time to ensure I connect with my potential client?
Embrace rejection, or ghosting, and don't let it hinder you 💛
