First day of school calls for a toast. 🥃

Here’s to the students starting a new year, the parents doing all the things to get them there, the teachers getting ready to pour into another group of kids, and the administrators working alongside teachers and staff to make it all happen.

I hope it’s a safe, successful and fun year for everybody.

And as always… proud product of public education. 💙🤍

Now, I enjoy the classics, but I love a new kid on the block.

I’ve been hearing a lot about both K.Luke and Duck Club lately, and just happened to find them both at Buster’s today.

Excited to crack these open and see what all the talk is about!

Somehow my baby is 9 years old today!

Life truly wouldn’t be the same without Naomi Grace. She keeps me on my toes with her intense energy, brutal honesty, and carefree spirit.

I’m so thankful to be her dad.

Technically, we rescued Rebekah Adeline Cummings I—better known as Becks—on July 2.

But we celebrate her Gotcha Day on the Fourth of July. It just feels right.

She’s incredibly affectionate, gives love even when we don’t necessarily want it, sheds like crazy, and somehow always seems to know when one of us needs a little extra comfort. She’s also done her part to further me being outnumbered in a house full of girls.

Tonight, we all had a little dessert, sang to her, and celebrated our sweet Becks.

Happy Gotcha Day to the dog who made our house even louder!

It's been a year since I last sat behind a microphone.

Not because I stopped loving conversations. Life just got busy. Priorities shifted. And I made a promise to myself that if I came back, it would be for conversations that were truly worth having.

This one was.

Adam Breckenridge and Preston Echols pulled up a chair, and we talked about something that's shaped all three of us in ways we never expected: being girl dads.
