We couldn't be more excited to revive the Clusterfunk DJs for Saturday night of our Frequency528live Silent Disco!

The first ClusterFunk was hosted by Michael Heston, aka DJ Dystract, on 8/10/10 at Heston Farm in Fairmont, WV. The following month it moved to our sponsor 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown, where it had a successful run featuring free entry for ladies and $5 entry for the guys. By 10:30pm the line would be up the street and at max capacity with more people outside than could fit inside the building. The DJ + visual artist collective outgrew the capacity at 123 and moved the event to the Lazy Lizard, where it was successful, until it fizzled after a few years. Clusterfunk was a weekly dance night that introduced tons of new local + regional DJs to the Morgantown scene and provided the electronic dance community a place to connect. The original core Clusterfunk DJs came back together for one final show at Pleasant Street in March of 2019 featuring sets from DJ Curser, DJ Dystract, DJ STRIZY, Jacob Van Lysick, DatFreQ, and Clintonics. Original member, Shane J Dameron aka DJ Curser, sadly passed away the following May, and the group got together one last time to celebrate his life in May of 2019. Clusterfunk DJs are reuniting at Groovin' with the Grove 8 to show love to everyone who shared memorable experiences with the community, and to create new ones just like they once had.
