Bathroom remodel under way. Replacing vanity, mirror, lighting, flooring, and trim.
Toilet was already updated to an “adult size” a couple of years ago - first thing we did in our house actually.

New compost bin design appears to be working. Just completed a winter-mixing without breaking my back! Stay tuned to see how well the soil dispenses this spring.

Spontaneous project solved (mostly) in a day. HVAC air return vent location is problematic for my kitchen cabinet placement. For a period of time, I just put the cabinet in front of it. BAD IDEA!!! The dust was pulled/blown into my drawers - covering my dishes- the amount was unreal and GROSS. After HVAC Duct cleaning wrapped yesterday, I knew I had to solve it properly.
Option 1: cover it completely (at the wall)
- not ideal and does not help hvac system
Option 2: route the intake so it can still do its job.
- since on the floor level, I added a filter that can be swapped out easily without removing the cabinets

I was able to get all of the HVAC pieces I needed at my local The Home Depot, including the vent filters!

Don’t worry- I will paint the vent black to help it blend in better

Even when you do test pieces first, you can still have something go wrong on the final piece. Oh well, Try again.
