A few days ago, I made an unexpected discovery in my garden: a cat gave birth in a quiet corner, sheltered by some plants. There she was, curled up with her newborn kittens, watching over them with infinite tenderness. I don’t know where she came from or who might have abandoned her, but her eyes seemed to express both caution and hope. Perhaps she was simply looking for a safe place to bring her little ones into the world.
