Host Biography:
Joshua Askew first obtained a Private Investigators license in 1998 while working for MEA Investigative Services, Inc. MEA was formed in the late 70's by his father, Mike Askew, a former Scotland Yard Detective. Askew was directly trained by Senior Mr. Askew became the registered agent for MEA and began handling all Florida Investigations. After several years as an Investigator with MEA. Askew joined a local Law Enforcement Agency where he remained for 5+ years. While actively working in Law Enforcement, Mr. Askew also became a volunteer firefighter / first responder and would later continue his career in Fire Rescue by becoming a Florida State certified Fire Fighter. Training included: CPR/AED, Emergency Vehicle Operations, Extrication and Hazmat Training. After Mr. Askew's 5+ years in Law Enforcement, he proceeded to pursue a full time Fire Rescue position. After 1 year with Fire Rescue, Mr. Askew filed to start his own Private Investigative Firm, later Incorporating his firm in February of 2008. While working full time with Fire Rescue and operating his Private Investigative Firm, Mr. Askew continued to go above and beyond for his clients and for the citizens of Jacksonville and our great state. Askew was soon a Board of Directors Member with the Florida Association of Licensed Investigators where he maintained this position for several years. Askew has been featured on numerous media outlets including MSNBC.com, The Lex and Terry Radio Show, Jacksonville's Local Channel 4, 12 and 25 news stations as well as news stations across the state and radio shows across the country. Askew is often called upon for his expert opinion. Askew was recently voted as " #1 Private Investigator" and his firm voted as " #1 Private Investigative Firm" by VOID Magazine
