My conversation with Dr. S Ama Wray will be released this Thursday as the next episode of act/re/act. We discuss her dance improvisation modality - Embodiology - and it’s use as a teaching tool, a performance form, and how it is being used in healthcare and other settings. Embodiology draws its inspiration from a range of African diasporic influences, including Jazz dance, Jazz music, West African arts, and the Ewe people of Ghana.
