My conversation with Dr. S Ama Wray will be released this Thursday as the next episode of act/re/act. We discuss her dance improvisation modality - Embodiology - and it’s use as a teaching tool, a performance form, and how it is being used in healthcare and other settings. Embodiology draws its inspiration from a range of African diasporic influences, including Jazz dance, Jazz music, West African arts, and the Ewe people of Ghana. Check out this insightful and inspiring conversation when it’s released later this week! Photo: black and white photo with dancers in different shapes on a backwards diagonal from left to right.
