The Age of Delusion: Beware the Deception of Riches and Fame"

Text: 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We live in a world filled with deception. Many believe that wealth and fame bring true happiness, but this is a lie. Deception surrounds us. Riches and fame promise happiness but deliver disappointment. Today, we'll examine how riches and fame can mislead us.

Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Don't you find it puzzling that the very things we expect to bring satisfaction and growth often yield emptiness and disappointment?

The Deception of Riches:
Jesus warned, "The deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful. Riches promise security, freedom, and happiness, but they deliver emptiness and bo***ge.

-Riches can't guarantee tomorrow: James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

Riches can't buy eternal life: Matthew 19:21-22 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Riches can't replace relationships: Proverbs 17:1 Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.

Revelation chapter 21

Christians have always thought that their home of eternal rest, is heaven. The earth, the Lord has given to man, this is our place. This earth as we know it; will pass away. A new earth and a new heaven will eventually be made. A new earth for man to dwell in.

We will have God and the Lamb in the new earth. Therefore, man will no more see sorrows or pains. The Lord himself will comfort man. For God will make all things new. The one that overcomes shall inherit all things.

The unbelieving and the sinner, shall have their part in the lake of fire.

Revelation chapter 22

Life flows from God to his people. The river of water of life, proceeds out of the throne of God and the Lamb.

There is no curse where the Lord dwells. There shall be no more curse. For God and the Lamb shall be in it, and his people shall serve him. The name of God shall be in their foreheads. There will be no night. There will also be no need of the Sun. For God himself shall be the light there.

Behold, the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. Blessed is the man that keeps the sayings of the prophecy. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still. Let him who is filthy, be filthy still. Let him that is unrighteous, let him be unrighteous still. He that is unholy, let him be unholy still.

Revelation chapter 18
The wine from Babylon may taste very great, and seem very pleasant to the body. The wine which the kings of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are drunken with. The wine of fornication, the wine of greed, the wine of idolatry. The whole world have drank that wine.
The judgment of God is coming on Babylon. There is a call for the people of God, to come out from among them. So that, they do not get counted as partakers of her sins. For her iniquity has come before the LORD. Come out from her, so that you do not receive her plague. Her judgement has come and it is sudden.
Revelation chapter 19
There was great joy in heaven, as the inhabitants thereof gave glory to God. For his righteous judgement. For he has judged that pr******te which has corrupted the earth with her fornication.
The rejoicing continued, for the marriage of the Lamb to the bride has come. The wife has made herself ready for the marriage. It is going to happen soon.
Her clothing is white and clean. It is important to stay holy and righteous before the God of heaven, who has called us with a holy calling. You are blessed if you are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Revelation chapter 20
He will reign for a thousand years. They that were beheaded and killed; for the sake of the gospel, shall reign with the Lord Jesus Christ, for that one thousand years. Eventually, Christ shall hand the kingdom back to the Father, that the Father might be all in all
When the one thousand years are over, Satan will be released for a season. Then the great white throne judgement will happen. Anyone whose name is not found in the book of life, shall be cast into the lake of fire where the beast, the devil and the false prophet are.

Revelation chapter 15

As is expected of a man when he goes through a difficult time, and comes out victorious. The man rejoices and celebrates by giving thanks to God; in appreciation for what God has done for him.

In the same way, we see in this chapter, of those who overcame the beast and the great tribulation. They did not worship the beast or his image. Neither did they receive his mark.
They gave glory to God, by singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. Appreciating God for the victory which he gave them. One of the sins of the end time, is the sin of not giving glory to God.

We saw that the seven angels, were preparing to pour out the wrath of God on the earth.

Revelation chapter 16

Whatever a man plants, the same he shall reap. When third angel poured out his plague on the earth. The voice of the angel of the waters was heard, giving glory to God for his righteous judgement. That men love bloodshed. Therefore, God has given them blood to drink.

Men are not the only ones affected by the plagues. The beast and his kingdom suffered too. A just recompense we shall receive for our works, says the scripture.

A demonic spirit came frome the beast and the prophet. This was the demonic spirit responsible for the signs and wonders, the miracles which were done by the dragon, the Prophet and the beast. The scriptures say we should test all spirits, to know if they be of God.

Child of God, keep watching and praying, and keep your garment. So that, your nakedness should not be seen.

Revelation chapter 17

The world today has gone crazy. Men would do just about anything to have wealth and prosperity. Just to be free from what we call 'financial bo***ge'. Most of the time, this said bo***ge is self inflicted. We brought such on ourselves by our greed.

Every nation on earth wants to be financially superior to the rest, or at least financially free. Therefore, the kings and the presidents of the nations have followed the path of the devil. Yet, their people are not financially liberated.
Somehow, someone thinks they can actually fight with the LORD. Interestingly, the ones preparing for this battle with God, are spirits who should know better. Man is just been deceived into something he should not get into.
