Our lead Cast is coming together for "EthanAlmighty" the inspirational feature film based on the true story of Jeff Callaway and his rescued dog "Ethan" that miraculously survived after being starved and abused. His story made the headlines and inspired the state of Kentucky for change. Jeff Callaway with his dog "Ethan" by his side along with Kentucky State Representative Susan Tyler Witten worked tirelessly to change the anti-cruelty laws in Kentucky! It is a heartwarming story of triumph and real life miracles! EthanAlmighty became the only dog to "bark" his opinions at the Kentucky State Senate! This is a INCREDIBLE TRUE STORY!!! "Last Flare" (37 minute short film version) received a nice review in Indie Shorts Magazine: 4 out 5 Stars: "The highlight of the film is the scale of its storm set piece—sinking ship, rocky boat, walls of waves, risky underwater mission, near drownings, and an unceasing background score that matures with the narrative’s progression. The underwater shots—Drew goes down to sever the chain linking their boat to the ship—are impressive, perhaps more than any other, and especially because it is actually shot underwater."

I'm looking forward to completing this EPIC project into a full length feature soon! Congrats to all involved! To bring an indie - "Titanic" like film together was an incredible challenge, and I am proud to say we truly delivered! Our first festival screening will be at the Tarzana International Film Festival on the weekend of Sept 7-8. Tickets and other details to be announced soon! I hope many of my friends can make it to the screening! I would love to see you!

Here's a blast from the past! This is a commercial I directed starring Jamie Lee Curtis for The Wellness Community, a Cancer support organization. My father Doug McClure passed away from Cancer in 1995. It has been 30 years. It's hard to believe it has been that long. When I was offered the job to direct this PSA for The Wellness Community I jumped to the opportunity, and working with Jamie Lee Curtis was a dream come true! She was an absolute class act. I would love to work with her again. Love all of the wonderful films that she has been involved in, she performs with such honesty, depth and brilliance. Producers for this commercial were: Tyke Caravelli and myself with The Wellness Community group.
