Mr. Amiel P. Alfonso Appointed as one of B.O.D. of PARPEHM Inc as Membership Officer

SILAWAN proudly congratulates Mr. Amiel P. Alfonso, LPT, MAED, Physical Education Instructor, on his appointment as one of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Association of Researchers in Physical Education and Human Movements Inc. (PARPEHM Inc.).

With over eight years of teaching experience and a decade of coaching in various sports, Mr. Alfonso brings expertise, leadership, and passion to this national organization. His new role will focus on strengthening professional networks and promoting research in physical education and human movement sciences across the country.

This appointment is a testament to Mr. Alfonso’s dedication to excellence in education, research, and community engagement. SILAWAN celebrates this achievement and looks forward to his continued impact in the field.

Mabalacat City College, November 13-14, 2024 - the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) 3A and 3B students recently defended their research proposals, presenting fresh and impactful ideas aimed at advancing physical education. Eighteen student groups, supported by their advisers, showcased their research proposals, which were meticulously reviewed by a panel of esteemed experts. The panel, headed by Dr. Marilyn S. Arcilla and including Dr. Conrad M. Buerkley, Ms. Susan E. Manuel, Ms. Roda Shayne Torre, Mr. Celter Cris P. Torres, Ms. Donnabelle C. Lingat, and Ms. Kerly Jane E. Marucut, provided constructive feedback, underscoring the potential of the proposals to enrich the practice of physical education.

The SILAWAN organization, led by President Adrian C. Acoba and supported by dedicated officers, recently welcomed the 1st and 2nd-year Physical Education students in an engaging orientation session. Guided by organization adviser Ma'am Donnabelle Lingat, the team shared SILAWAN’s mission, upcoming initiatives, and opportunities for involvement, inspiring students to grow both as individuals and as part of a supportive community. This orientation set the tone for a year of empowerment, collaboration, and active participation in physical education and beyond.
