Been MIA lately.. 🗺️

Currywurst and Kolsch in Germany, croissants and steak frites in Paris, late night hand pulled noodles in London, Guinness and Irish stew in Ireland, and coffee all along the way - this was the trip of a lifetime.

I’m feeling incredibly thankful for the stamps on my passport and all the memories we made.

Tour starts in a week and half, see everyone on the road.

I was so excited to have a Bobby Cam at Red Rocks (I used a magnetic mount on my Osmo Pocket 3) just for it to fall the second they started playing their set 😂

I think the biggest thing that elevated my work was learning how to shoot in Log and grade my footage in post.

It add time to your workflow and takes a little more knowledge on your equipment but it makes such a difference in the look of your final product.

Today marks 2 years since I got a message from Josh asking if I wanted to help out with some projects. And that started my full time media career. It’s crazy to think about how that ultimately changed my life.

I’m so incredibly thankful every day for your friendship and mentorship. (And for the work, obvi)

Thanks for wanting to teach me, inspiring and encouraging my creativity, lending me gear, bragging about me while also keeping me humble.

Wouldn’t be where I am now without ya.

If you’ve seen me working at a show you may have seen me stack two cameras on top of each other like a crazy person but I am constantly trying to get photo and video coverage of the same moments.

You can see in this unedited clip that the video footage is never perfect when I do this because I already know it’s going to be clipped up in post so I prioritize getting as many good photos while the video is running - I don’t always notice when the auto focus slips or if I’m not tilting the camera high enough.

But in the end I have very usable footage for the show recap and many photos.

Shooting photo and video at shows isn’t easy and takes a lot of practice and, honestly, wrist strength 😂
