Series #1
Your Music Source for NACMAI
We’re going to begin with the biggest change to the competition, for any backup music you might need.
NO CDs will be used for music!
Due to issues with recordings on CDs, the following ‘Music Sources’ may be used:
Laptop Computers, Tablet or Cell Phone only. These devices will be plugged in for your music.
NO BLUETOOTH. And No FLASHDRIVES.
In your Music Sources program, have the songs for each specified competition, performance or entertainer, in the order you want to perform them. Also, when you’re loading your songs in your program, make sure you’ve added the 2-4 second break between songs and have a maximum time of 8 minutes for your songs, including the break.
*You’ll give your Music Source” to a sound tech just prior to your going on stage.
*It’s a good idea to have your name on your music source. Just write your name on a piece of masking tape, so it’s visible & legible, stick it on the lid or back of your device. Do this will help the sound person knows which belongs to who.
