With four laps to go at the Argentinian GP 1998 race, it started to rain and the track was like an ice rink.
On the last corner, Michael's Ferrari went straight on into a gravel trap. «There was one part where the track was particularly slippery and I got caught out. Luckily this morning I had seen Johnny (Herbert) get stuck in the sand at this point. I realised then that the best thing to do was to accelerate rather than brake, in order to get out.»
In the morning, the Ferrari driver had actually taken the trouble of going to speak to Herbert to ask his advice as to what to do at the point and he even went to look at the perimeter service road at that point on the track.
That allowed him to save the win.

After four days on life support, fighting with every bit of strength he had, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe. He never stopped fighting, right until the very end. I feel so grateful and honoured to have shared my life with such a beautiful soul, an angel and true friend. Bringing Roscoe into my life was the best decision I ever made, and I will forever cherish the memories we created together. Although I lost Coco, I have never been faced with putting a dog to sleep before, though I know my mum and many close friends have. It is one of the most painful experiences and I feel a deep connection to everyone who has gone through the loss of a beloved pet. Although it was so hard, having him was one of the most beautiful parts of life, to love so deeply and to be loved in return.

Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown Roscoe over the years. It has been so special to witness and feel.

He died on Sunday evening, 28th September in my arms.

AND THIS IS WHERE I LOST THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP….

At the end of last year, Damon Hill visited Adelaide and couldn’t resist revisiting the spot where he collided with Michael Schumacher in 1994. The shunt caused both cars to retire from the race, making Michael Schumacher world champion.

Taking all your classmates to an F1 race to watch you compete has got to be one of the biggest teenage flexes ever 🎓

Another fantastic result for Mick Schumacher in WEC, this time in a 6 hours race of Spa-Francorchamps! After a mighty qualifying by Mick to get P6 on the grid and out-qualifying their sister car again, a great performance by the #36 team at the race to get P3!
But almost a bitersweet podium, since Mick was in a fight for the win, but a slow puncture has cost the team their first WEC victory. In the end just few seconds away! In an ALPINE! Against Ferraris!

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our great friend Jochen Mass. One of the truly great drivers and an even greater human being. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We'll miss you Jochen.
