Extremely proud to share that Pokémon Path to the Peak has been nominated for an Annie Award for Best TV/Media - Limited Series! It was so much fun directing this wonderful project at TAIKO Studios and working alongside an amazing team. Much thanks to Andy Gose, Phil Rynda, Taito Okiura, Benjamin Townsend, Chris Hewitt, Mia Violet and the rest of the Pokémon team for all their hard work bringing Ava's story to life. Spectacular production design and art direction from Alvin Loong and Soonthen Cheang. And a very special nod to our story team Ian Mutchler, Kiana Khansmith, Caroline Director, Moss Lawton, and Amy Hudkins for bringing heart and soul to each episode. From "One Small Step" director Andrew Chesworth:

"We wrote a pop song (two years ago!) In early 2018, we finished our short film 'One Small Step' at Taiko and released it into the world. Steve Horner pitched me the idea of writing a song around the score we had created together. I was thrilled by the idea. Steve quickly put together a terrific piano demo with pop structure using the main themes from the film. I wrote the lyrics and we brainstormed revisions. Steve invited in his very talented frequent collaborator Natalie Major to sing the demo. The session was an absolute blast. Here it is!"
