I'm very happy to announce the release of my new book exploring nanotechnology's role in driving global sustainability!
Twenty years of editing nanowerk.com has given me a front-row seat to nanotechnology's evolution. I've covered thousands of breakthroughs, from laboratory curiosities and early-stage research to commercial applications, and watched the field mature into something truly transformative.
This book, published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, pulls together everything I've learned from covering the field: how innovations at the nanoscale are providing targeted solutions to our most pressing environmental challenges—spanning energy, manufacturing, agriculture, medicine, and beyond. It's the book I wish existed when I started covering nanotech.
It's been incredibly rewarding to finally connect all these dots and show how this platform technology is quietly reshaping entire industries toward sustainability. Written for students, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and sustainability advocates who want to understand how these small-scale breakthroughs are collectively solving our biggest environmental challenges.
After 20 years of reporting on this space, I'm more convinced than ever that nanotechnology holds the key to a sustainable future.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
