Jan22/25 || Clovy sunset session - was cold but gloves and a thin toque under my helmet kept me going. The sunset today reminded me to just stop and take a look and as I was editing these shots I’ve realized how much I miss just taking photo’s for fun. Feed your soul, no one else is going to feed it for you.

🌊REPOST🌊 • As the seasons change we gotta adapt with it. In fact that is how humanity has survived… adaptation.

Our local put out the Bat Signal from the local group chat and showed up at Penzer PumpTrack to show us the skill level of skating switch(that’s backwards for those that don’t know)

We made our rounds and as the sun dropped..so did the temperature.

So stoked to juts get out there and roll around.

🌊REPOST🌊 • Just trying to hang onto the Summer Vibes while the weather holds. So and I took to the concrete waves at Penzer Park in Langley.

This is my first real run at a Pump Track with hopes to put more time into it as things progress.

Super hyped to share this small part of the learning journey.

Lovely week and it ain’t even done yet. Gratitude is easy. Very not Dec weather this year is a bonus when I’m back on the skateboard. Clovy today was great and Endless Summer Sundays was a blast! Looking forward to this Sunday coming up, 6-8pm inside the 🤙🏄‍♂️🌊

🌊REPOST🌊 • So here we have some excess footage while setting up and warm ups before the Marshmallow Toast and SKATE Jam last Saturday

It was an absolute blast to hit up a Jam where there were no expectations other than to be yourself.

summed things up near the end with ‘simply just showing up for yourself is what makes you a winner’. He went further to describe having met some new people with a similar interest and a passion and love for skateboarding to be one of the best ‘take aways’ one could ask for.

For me…. I am forever grateful for the skate community. It’s easy to want to give back to a culture that has given so much without expectation.

**as it goes sometimes in any sport or physical activity there is always a potential Risk. A mishap at the end of the evening when things were nearly shut down occurred. One of our local Surf Skaters caught an edge on a seemingly simple maneuver and found himself needing an ambulance. Needless to say it’s part of the process. We are all glad it wasn’t worse. Wishing for a speedy recovery.
